Thin Diaphragms

Extremely thin diaphragms. DST specializes in producing these diaphragms, with thickness in functional area of 0.20 mm, with fabric reinforcement. Fuel gas (LPG / CNG) supply to the engine is constantly controlled by these diaphragms. Pressure differential for these diaphragms is very low and the diaphragm has to move up and down according to the pressure and activate the part connected to it, to regulate the flow of the fuel gas. We have been supplying 7 varieties of these diaphragms since the year 2000 to Original Equipment Manufacturer and we are exclusive suppliers of these diaphragms to many OEMs. Depending upon customer requirement, diaphragms can be developed using any rubber material (specified by customer) and supplied.

CNG / LPG Diaphragms

Highly resistant to LPG / CNG. 100% Leak tested. High sensitivity even at low pressures. Original Equipment Quality. Thickness from 0.20 mm onwards with fabric reinforcement

Gas Kit Diaphragms

These diaphragms are used in CNG / LPG kits of van / buses. Rubber material which Highly resistant to LPG / CNG is being used, 100% leak tested and accepted diaphragms are only dispatched to customer. Over the years, problems faced by customers have been analyzed amd improvements have been made to the design & material to give trouble free operations of Gas kits.

Low Pressure Diaphragms

For certain low pressure applications, diaphragms without fabric reinforcement can be used. These are homogeneneous diaphragms and are cost effective.

High Pressure Diaphragms

This diaphragm is used in applications where pressure is high (kit inlet area from the cylinder) Wall thickness would be around 1mm & above. Since they are subjected to higher pressures, according to the pressure in which they are used, suitable fabric (Nylon / Polyester) & their thickness are used. Rubber material which Highly resistant to corrosion is used. Typically, these diaphragms are fabric reinforced. As per customer design these diaphragms are supplied.

Plain Diaphragms

Homogenous diaphragms without fabric reinforcement. These rubber diaphragms are typically used in low pressure applications and have non-critical functionalities

Air Brake Chamber Diaphragms

Well known diaphragm usage in automotive applications. In the Air Brake assembly, compressed air deflates diaphragm, thus displacing a piston which in turn applies the brake on the wheel drum. This is also a critical application, because any leakage through diaphragm would affect braking efficiency of the vehicle, hence diaphragm material & fabric positioning is very critical. We manufacture & supply Air Brake Chamber Diaphragm (used in air brake system of the trucks / buses) for export market (against orders). Quality of our diaphragms are at par with OEM manufacturers (physical properties and functional requirements). Good braking response. Higher wall thickness (1.5 mm & above) diaphragms are used in many applications (pneumatic / hydraulic) to transform mechanical action / energy. Depending upon pressure acting on the diaphragm, thickness of the diaphragm shall vary & fabric reinforcement shall be given. Rubber material is selected based on the media in which the diaphragms will be used. Based on customer requirement, properties of rubber material, fabric to rubber bond strength shall be achieved.

Pump Diaphragms

Diaphragms used in positive displacement pumps. Pump diaphragms manufactured by DST, are capable of operating in various media and at a versatile range of pressure differential.
